# matrix

Matrix is a small program that saves permissions on directory to a file and can restore it on another directory (or another machine)

|
|

## Usage
|
|
|
|
Backup file permissions of /etc on /tmp/backup.txt
|
|
|
|
```
|
|
matrix.py backup /tmp/backup.txt /etc
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
Restore file permissions on /etc based on backup.txt
|
|
|
|
```
|
|
matrix.py restore /tmp/backup.txt /etc
|
|
```
